Just a quick follow up on lymphedema coverage through Medicare. Unfortunately Medicare and it's supplement plans do not have coverage for any lymphedema products.  You are eligible for compression hose if you are currently being treated for ulcers on our lower extremities. Your doctor will need to write you a prescription to take to your provider where the provider can request doctor notes and verify if you qualify.  Most commercial insurance carriers do cover gradient garments so we are asking everyone to go to lymphedematreatmentact.org to sign the petition for Medicare coverage. Every little bit helps towards the inclusion of Medicare coverage for lymphedema products.  We will be glad to check your insurance and see if your plan covers these services. As always, please contact us if you have any questions at all. We will be glad to help. Read more
